The Garden House The house is very small about 15 metres square with about 6 metres of deck then garden. It is sparsely furnished as a study/living/bedroom room with a refrigerator, and simple cooking facilities. It is too small for double occupancy. Linen is provided and regularly changed, other services as agreed. It is very private. The bathroom private to the tenant - is six paces away under the pergola, and into the lower ground floor of the main house. The economy room - washing up, washing clothes, ironing - is shared. There is cupboard and clothes hanging space in the lower hall. There is garden furniture. The little house is architect designed as a study/reading room. It is heavily insulated against cold and noise, with thermostatically controlled floor heating. There is good natural light from a window towards the North and three pairs of glazed doors towards the South. The first tenant was a Scottish lady medical doctor/researcher. Probably, it would suit someone more senior looking for a quiet retreat. Smoking not allowed.
