Our 5th floor apartment is located in a very quiet and pretty area of central Stockholm, near to Zinkensdamm tunnelbana, Tanto Park and picturesque allotments and gardens. It is accessed off a very quiet, courtyard garden to the north on the second floor or a residential access road to the south on the lower level. It is however possible to drive right up to the front door with a vehicle. In general, apart from the bathroom, the whole apartment was renovated in 2023/4 and so is very fresh. The apartment, has a master bedroom with double bed and a large amount of wardrobe space, a second bedroom with a large bunk bed and ladders where two children can sleep. We also have a third regular-sized bed in this second bedroom. We have a storage room which we have adapted so that it can serve as an additional bedroom with floor-to-ceiling cupboard space. However, this room has no window. The bed has also been designed to function as a desk should this space need to be used as a study. The entrance hallway has several meters of floor-to-ceiling cloak/shoe storage which is also heated via underfloor heating for the winter months so wet shoes dry well. The kitchen is entirely new with nice light-coloured exposed wood cabinets and a limestone worktop. Complete with an in-built fridge freezer and storage, in-built microwave, oven and small dishwasher. It has an induction hob and extract. The kitchen space is open-plan to the dining/living space which is tastefully decorated. The living room has a large L-shaped sofa bed which is very comfortable and makes a king size sleeping surface when open. The wall-mounted TV is very large - perfect for gaming or film nights, however is not currently connected to any TV service or network. We stream movies on our laptops and connect via HDMI to the large screen. The bathroom is a decent size with a toilet, hand basin, bath (with stand-in shower) and washing machine. There are mirrored wall cabinets. We didnt renovate the bathroom when we renovated the rest of the apartment but it is in a perfectly good condition. We can always be contacted if there are any issues or questions during the tenancy. The reason for renting the apartment is that we are moving away from Stockholm for a period because of work and our kids schooling.
