Hi There We are looking for a new roommate: a happy female student 20-30 years old, for 1-3 years (no males, familys or couples, thanks). Diversity is not just a beautiful word but a part of my everyday life. In my everyday life, the mixture of people of different gender and background led to better ideas, wiser decisions, nice private life and a fun work environment. My goal is to promote all kind of equality and diversity. We are a family without prejudices, no matter sexual preferences, ethnicity, religion or genders belonging. So if you dont have the same philosophical, you would never feel comfortable with us, and probably we not with you :) We are a small family of two (me 53, and my daughter 16, every second week) who lives in a too big townhouse in Malmo. Therefore we have two lovely students living with us, one wonderful girl from Canada and one lovely Swedish girl who now sadly is moving out. Both of them will of course give you honest references about how it is to live with us in our house. You have a small room by yourself with 120cm bed, desk and drawer. You share shower/toilet only with the other student, and the kitchen and living-room we all feel free to use. You can have some pre-drinks before your student parties, or only spend the hole Sunday laying in the sofa watching Netflix and some nice series, or why not invite some friends for cooking Our family is like every other family. Sometimes loud and laughing, and sometime only lazy and quiet. We are really easy going, you pick up your stuff and I pick up mine. The bus to Lund is 3 minutes walk from the house, and the bus to Malmö Högskola is 2 minutes away. You will reach Lund within 20 minutes and Malmö Central in 4 minutes. If you have a bice you can reach the centre of Malmö in 5 minutes. The rent is 3000 sek/month, (paid in advance latest 30th of every month) and includes heat, water, electricity, Wi-Fi, home insurance. Free access to washing machine/dryer. We use a legal contract for both to sign. One month notice from both parts. 2 months rent in deposit, paid latest the month before you move in. We will Skype, show you the house and talk on phone before deciding. The room is available earliest from February 1th. We are looking forward to hear from you soon I only answer by email.
