Sandudden is an very calm and nice place close to Mälaren, the third largest lake in Sweden) There is a Pre School (kindergarten) and School (children up to 12 years old) located a few hundred meters from the house (walking distance). The area is mainly populated by families with children. The house is located near several beaches, the closest within a hundred meters. In the wintertime you can normally do ice skating in the same place as you swim in the summer. Communication A few hundred meters from the house there is a bus station. The bus takes you to Stockholm (Brommaplan) in 20 minutes. You will get to Brommaplan by car in 15 minutes. There is also a car-ferry that takes you from Ekerö to southern parts of Stockholm. For example it takes you 30 minutes to Södertälje by car taking the ferry.
